Crazy Mongolian Health Care

Today I met someone whose friend needed an emergency appendectomy in the Gobi- she got one. With only local anesthesia. Thankfully she passed out from the pain. Whoa. It definitely wasn't laproscopic.

Good thing I already had mine taken out.
